Lemeshia Mclendon

Lemeshia Mclendon is our owner and administrator of Little Hearts. She is a native of Dublin, Georgia. She is married to Johnard Mclendon of Soperton, Georgia. They have one daughter Za’Kayla Harvard and 4 God children. She majored in Early childhood education class of 2013 and Business Management class of 2018 at Oconee Fall Line Technical College In Dublin, Georgia. Having a passion for nurturing kids she started her own small and family-oriented center in 2018.

Chakerria Floyd

Chakerria Floyd is an assistant teacher at Little Hearts Daycare. She is a Dublin, Georgia native, and a Class of 2017 Dublin High School graduate. She currently attends Middle Georgia State University as a Biology major. Her favorite colors are pink and gold. She enjoys eating seafood and spending time with family and friends during her free time. She is the older sister of two younger sisters and four God-siblings. Chakerria has served as an assistant teacher since the opening of the daycare in 2018.

Brittany Walden

Brittany Walden is the toddler teacher at Little Hearts.  She is a wife and mother of three beautiful children. She attended and graduated from West Laurens High School, Class of 2008. In 2017, upon her previous experience in childcare, Brittany went on to attend Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Dublin, Georgia. She graduated in Early Childhood Education in 2018. Following graduation, Brittany began her transition to Little Hearts Daycare. She genuinely loves teaching and loving on children.

Janet Tyson

Janet Tyson has been in Early Childhood education since 1993. Ms. Janet is the lead teacher for the “Tumbling Tots” class at Little Hearts Daycare. She is the mother of two—Courtney and CJ Tyson. She graduated from East Lauren’s High School. She has taken various childhood education training courses through out her career. Ms. Janet enjoys working with various age groups and finding new developmental ways to teach.

Michele Mckennie

Michele Mckennie is our Infant teacher at Little Hearts. She is a native of Wadley, Georgia. She Graduated from Jefferson County Highschool In 1997. She has two kids and one grandchild. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and traveling. Having a passion for kids she transitioned to Little Hearts to start a new career in Early Childhood Education.
